Fort Albert
Henry Goss Architects in collaboration with Strom Architects has developed a proposal for a residential landmark tower adjacent to Fort Albert, on the Western end of the Isle of White, marking the Western Approach to the Solent.
The Solent is surrounded by famous landmarks, such as the Victorian Forts and famous lighthouses, but more recently new towers and chimneys. These form an important part of the Solent landscape.
The proposed tower sits on a concrete base which draws inspiration from Fort Albert and Hurst Castle on the mainland opposite.
